Location: London Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Commission/OTE: 100% of base salary Employment Type: Permanent Reports To: Head of Sales/Director Role Purpose: This role is for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Consultant focused on new business development for bespoke software solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic, consultative engagement with potential clients, with a strong emphasis on selling end-to-end software development and bespoke software solutions.
The candidate should have proven expertise in the software development lifecycle, from initial sales through to the delivery of custom solutions, and be motivated to meet ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Develop and maintain outbound sales activities to build a robust pipeline, specifically targeting custom software solutions, end-to-end software development, and bespoke systems.
Sales Pipeline Management: Cultivate relationships with prospective clients, ensuring a strong, qualified pipeline for complex software solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build lasting rapport with key decision-makers, effectively communicating the value of bespoke software solutions tailored to client needs.
Opportunity Qualification & Deal Closing: Use consultative selling to identify new business opportunities and close deals, aligning bespoke software offerings with client objectives.
Revenue Targets & Bonuses: Consistently achieve quarterly sales goals, with the potential for up to a £60,000 bonus for successful performance.
Sales Reporting: Utilize HubSpot CRM to track sales activities, monitor pipeline progress, and refine strategies based on performance metrics.
Consultative Selling: Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and position custom software solutions in a way that addresses their specific challenges.

What We're Looking For: Experience: 2-3 years of experience in selling bespoke software solutions, with a focus on end-to-end software development and complex, customer-driven software systems.
Proven track record of success in selling custom software solutions (mobile, web, AI, data), including the ability to close complex deals.
Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from initial discovery and solution design through to the final delivery and client success (essential).
Strong understanding of bespoke software development processes, including project scoping, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.
Key Attributes: Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong ability to drive business development in a high-growth, consultative sales environment.
Personality Traits: Ambitious, intellectually curious, and able to engage clients with thoughtful, consultative questions to understand their business needs.
Educational Background: A preferred degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Economics.
Systems Knowledge: Strong proficiency in HubSpot CRM for managing sales and pipeline tracking.
