A cloud-based enterprise platform that revolutionizes merchandise and inventory management for retailers is looking for a seasoned Director of Sales (LATAM) to lead their growth in the Latin American market. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding our regional presence, and building a high-performing sales team.
This position demands a sales leader with a solid background in retail technology and SaaS sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven history of surpassing revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement a strategic sales plan for the LATAM region that aligns with our revenue and growth goals. Familiarity with Challenger Sales methodology is a plus.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
- Market Expansion: Seek out and leverage new business opportunities within the retail tech and SaaS sectors, driving client acquisition and increasing market share.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and positioning our solutions for maximum value.
- Market Insights: Analyze trends in the LATAM market, assess the competitive landscape, and gather customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and keep our company at the forefront of industry developments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the broader Sales team, as well as Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, to ensure coordinated efforts and drive combined business outcomes.
- Travel Requirements: Travel across the LATAM region to support sales efforts, enhance client relationships, and coordinate with your team.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years in professional sales roles, with at least 3 years in direct management.
- Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in retail technology sales, particularly in SaaS solutions.
- Leadership & Team Building: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team with an emphasis on forecasting accuracy and achieving targets.
- Results-Oriented: A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Preferred Background: Experience in ERP, planning, or logistics management is a significant advantage, as is experience in consulting.
- Location Flexibility: Based in Mexico or Colombia, with the ability to travel frequently throughout the LATAM region.
