We are looking for a 'Retail of the Future' Test Operation Specialist. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and managing testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of digital platforms and systems used in our retail transformation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, optimize test operations, and contribute to delivering a seamless customer experience.
Your Responsibilities are: Test Planning, Design, Execution and Data ManagementDevelop Test Strategies:Create comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored to the specific requirements of the ROTF initiative.Collaborate with stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and success criteria.Design Test Cases:Design and document detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.Ensure test coverage aligns with project goals and customer expectations.Conduct Manual and Automated Testing:Execute manual and automated test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and usability of digital solutions.Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.Identify and Document Defects:Identify, analyze, and document defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from expected results.Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution and retesting.Performance Testing:Conduct performance testing to evaluate system response times, load capacity, and scalability.Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.Prepare Test Data:Create and manage test data required for various testing scenarios, ensuring data integrity and relevance.Implement data masking and anonymization techniques to maintain data privacy.Manage and maintain test environments, ensuring they are properly configured and available for testing activities.Coordinate with IT teams to resolve environment-related issues.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product & Pricing, Marketing, Sales, IT, Digital, F&C and dealers on testing objectives and requirements.Communicate Test Results:Prepare and present test reports, including test execution status, defect metrics, and quality assessments, to stakeholders.Provide insights and recommendations based on test findings to support decision-making.Process Improvement and InnovationIdentify opportunities to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies.Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.Stay Updated on Industry Trends:Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in testing practices.Apply new knowledge to improve testing strategies and outcomes.Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience+5 years of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in digital transformation projects.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the automotive industry and retail operations is a plus.
Specific KnowledgeStrong operational skill with attention to details.Good at playing with numbers and statistics with strong OA (MS Office) skills.Excellent communication skills both in Korean and English (verbal, written, and presentation).Proficient in using JIRA for issue tracking, test management, and project tracking.Skilled in organizing and maintaining project documentation and test cases in Confluence.Experience using Asana for project and task management, ensuring alignment with project timelines and goals.High understanding of Salesforce (SFDC), SAP Wholesale Tools (SWT), and online payment solutions.
