Job Description - Retail Credit Analyst (MER0003IHW)
Objective To analyze and assess credit risk of Retail passenger car and commercial vehicle loans and make prudent credit recommendations/first decisions to Management under MBFS credit rules and guidelines.Responsible for projects to improve credit operation functions.To identify risk and assess customer's credit worthiness and ability to service the debt and provide credit recommendations/first decisions to the management via comprehensive credit write-up.To conduct the credit write-up within TAT guideline with the completeness of the required documents.To ensure the terms and conditions of approved credit facilities are met before actual credit drawdown.To support sales and administrative teams with portfolio analysis and queries.To support company projects and initiatives.Accountabilities Assess and analyze the credit worthiness of the individual or corporate applying for an automotive loan and whether the loan is payable by the individual or corporate for the term of the loan.The analyst will use MBFSI processes, credit and fraud tools/systems as well as policies to arrive at lending decisions.The analyst must be resolution-oriented with good communication and customer service skills.The analyst will also support sales and administrative teams in reviewing the portfolio, streamlining processes, automating activities, and product development as well as achieving goals and KPIs as set by the company.Qualifications Master Degree/MBA, Finance, or related fields.At least 3-8 years' experience in a commercial lending environment from an international bank or finance company.Strong verbal and written command of English and good computer literacy (Microsoft Office).Critical and Soft Skills Knowledge Good team player, willing to learn and adapt to an international environment.Able to work hard and occasionally after office hours to get the job done in time.Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure with high responsibility.Good credit analytical skills.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Financial Services India Private Limited
