The group focuses on a combination of data analytics and customer driven, consultant minded support and solutions for our EY Internal clients – our EY Client Servers and Leaders.
About the role: A Reporting Analyst with the Americas Tax Experience Management Group is a multifaceted role. As a Supervising Associate, you will be working with the Americas Tax team on the following priorities:
Centralization, Standardization, and Modernization of the current reporting that is produced and distributed by the groups each week. Identifying and automating routine tasks that are undertaken each week, month, or annually. Improving the EM capacity to spend time on higher value based consultative projects and interactions with their stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide resource planning analysis on a routine and ad-hoc basis. Convert multiple freestanding processes into consolidated and streamlined reports & processes. Provide training on how to leverage existing reports and tools available at EY. Provide support/resolution to any data integrity, report, or system related issues. Lead or support additional projects as assigned. Support EM initiatives. Responsible for maintaining adequate coverage of ad hoc reporting requests during business hours (may require overtime). Skills and attributes for success Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a similar role or in the client serving practice. Strong and effective Business English language communication skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently, while working collaboratively with team members globally. Solid analytical skills detail, developed attention to detail and focus on data integrity. Possess critical/ strategic thinking. Proficient at negotiations skills and conflict management. Be solution oriented with strong problem solving skills. Strong client service focus; responsive to request and capable of maintaining a sense of urgency in resolving issues. Flexible in adapting to constantly changing priorities. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks; strong organizational skills, able to work in autonomous way and to set priorities as appropriate. Proficiency in Excel, including nested formulas and power query Intermediate Level of visual basics (VBA) including understanding of Sub/Function procedures and If/Then/Else statements
