The Work You'll Do: Sovos is seeking a Renewals Specialist to join our newly formed Renewals team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the renewals of our SaaS customer accounts. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong negotiation and communication skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. This is an individual contributor role with defined revenue targets.
More specifically, you will: Develop Strong Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations. Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success teams to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies. Implement Best Practices for Renewals: Apply industry best practices to improve the customer experience during the renewal process. Identify and Drive Upsell Opportunities: Proactively recognize and pursue upsell opportunities within assigned territories. Manage Renewals and Resolve Issues: Lead renewal negotiations with customers, ensuring successful outcomes. Work closely with internal teams to resolve any customer issues that may affect renewals. Ensure Operational Excellence: Maintain operational efficiency throughout the renewal process. Address challenges promptly and effectively. Forecasting and Target Achievement: Provide accurate forecasts and consistently meet or exceed renewal targets. Learn and Adapt Quickly: Show a strong ability to learn new systems and adapt to changes quickly, especially with new product offerings. What We Need From You 2-3 years in renewals or account management, ideally in the SaaS/software industry. Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales or renewal quotas. Strong negotiation and communication abilities. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM (preferred). Skilled at building strong relationships and advocating for customers. Capable of handling and resolving challenges effectively. Experience balancing the needs of different stakeholders and meeting deadlines. What Does Sovos Offer You?
