Your Day-to-Day:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze complex software systems and identify opportunities for automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
- Execute automated test scripts, report defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor and maintain test automation environments, ensuring their stability and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and methodologies for test automation.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance the QA process.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Contribute to the overall QA strategy and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Skills and Traits We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into the build process.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable but not required.

Compensation:
- Your starting rate is negotiable depending on your skills and experience.
- This is an hourly paid position.
- Contractors are paid monthly via wire transfer.
