Responsibilities:Plan and prepare work instructions that provide direction to the Facility Maintenance Department for corrective maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance performance, and predictive maintenance. Make procurement recommendations for all materials needed for work package execution.Conduct field audits to identify and analyze safety, preventive and corrective maintenance activities as well as to provide input for refining and improving work package quality. Random quality audits for contractor work to follow up on documentation, outstanding items, and ensuring our contractors are providing what they say they are.Facilities spare parts management process development, implementation, and coordination.Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts on all utility or facilities equipment and ensure these lessons learned are carried forward in future projects.Verify that work instructions are adequate and comply with all applicable station procedures, ASME Code, etc. Approve and review all required work packages to ensure safety, quality and technical feasibility.Develop, revise and review maintenance procedures to facilitate and enhance work package development, and maintain compliance with codes/ standards as well as vendor recommendation and maintenance direction.Actively support the planning effort for annual shutdown to include; job planning, job coordination, resource planning and financial management.Work with the area Operations and Maintenance staff to implement effective strategic maintenance initiatives that support achievement of reliability goals, objectives, key performance metrics, and maintenance cost objectives.Develop and implement a reliability plan for all energy center and ancillary facilities equipment.Ensure effective utilization and integrity of the computerized maintenance management system (SAP iPRO), including maintenance job plans, equipment/building structure updates, KPI reporting and modifications as needed to meet established goals and objectives.Continuously create, review, and improve job plans to drive facility maintenance efficiency.Minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure the majority of maintenance is planned work.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:B.S. degree in Engineering, or equivalent professional work experience.Minimum 3 years of related work experience.Knowledge and Skills:Facilities ManagementKnowledge of Building Code RequirementsVibration analysis, laser alignment, and instrument calibrationExperience with reliability improvement methods, technologies and tools.Experience working with predictive maintenance tools.Experience with and knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling practices.Knowledgeable in the following systems:Compressed AirChilled WaterWaste WaterNatural Gas distributionMedium and Low Voltage distributionExhaust systemsFire protection systemsGeneral Building MaintenanceExcellent computer skills to include: CMMS (SAP preferred) and most Microsoft applications.General knowledge of CAD and drafting standardsKnowledge of Metric and imperial standard systemWe are all in for change. Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC has invested more than 500 million U.S. dollars in the new Sprinter plant, which officially opened in 2018.
