Description Release of Automotive components by building the BOM with Product Data Management through PLM Tools, (NX) and support in Change Management ActivityPart Positioning and Trafo UpdationsCreation of Software/Flashwares, Storage of Software in EDLS server, Mapping of Code data to Flashware /Software in EPDMMonitoring/Tracking Releases/ FiFA@EE IssuesAssigning/Creating Part No's for Software & Hardware componentsChecking, storing, Releasing CAD Data and Drawing (Basic NX)Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement.Creating BOM and maintaining product documentation for all Mercedes-Benz car lines by understanding business requirements and interacting with German counterpartsConsultation with design engineers and understand the intent of creation of engineering change notice and the actions within the Engineering change notice.Perform standard part creation using Unigraphics NXCross functional responsibility to coordinate with process and method team and maintain quality standards as required.Ensure knowledge is shared across the team members.To manage risks and issues impacting project deliverablesSeamless integration with the Team in India & GermanAbout the company: Mercedes-Benz AG, a pioneer of automotive engineering, sees shaping the future of mobility in a safe and sustainable way as both a motivation and obligation. Qualifications B.E (Mechanical / Production/Automotive) Experience: 2 years to 6 years
Mandatory Skills: Product Data Management and Documentation Activity, Releases through PLM Tool (team centre)Good knowledge on PLM aspects and basic life cycle of parts releaseKnowledge of Change Management, Variants Control, Structure Level & BOM management.Release knowledge of Automotive components/ Electronics (Hardware & Software), functional relationships of automotive systems and componentsKnowhow of CAD Tools (NX)Must be a Team Player & also shoulder individual responsibility with little supervisionMicrosoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentationExcellent in communication and coordinationDesired skills: Intercultural Experience: Minimum one year of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients. Must be able to interact with the German teams.German Language will be an added advantage.Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skillsExperience in MB Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD (Optional)Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales, etc…)Knowledge of "Mercedes Benz" cars portfolio will be an added advantage.OrganizationMercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited
