Description
Release of Automotive components by building the BOM with Product Data Management through PLM Tools, (NX) and support in Change Management Activity Part Positioning and Trafo Updations Creation of Software/Flashwares, Storage of Software in EDLS server, Mapping of Code data to Flashware /Software in EPDM Monitoring/Tracking Releases/ FiFA@EE Issues Assigning/Creating Part No's for Software & Hardware components Checking, storing, Releasing CAD Data and Drawing (Basic NX) Perform Product Data Management/Release tasks based on customer requirement. Creating BOM and maintaining product documentation for all Mercedes-Benz - car lines by understanding business requirements and interacting with German counter parts Consultation with design engineers and understand the intent of creation of engineering change notice and the actions within the Engineering change notice. Perform standard part creation using Unigraphics NX Cross functional responsibility to coordinate with process and method team and maintain quality standards as required. Ensure knowledge is shared across the team members. Qualifications
B.E (Mechanical / Production/Automotive), Experience: 2 years to 6years
Mandatory Skills: Product Data Management and Documentation Activity, Releases through PLM Tool (team centre) Good knowledge on PLM aspects and basic life cycle of parts release Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control, Structure Level & BOM management. Release knowledge of Automotive components/ Electronics (Hardware & Software), functional relationships of automotive systems and components Knowhow of CAD Tools (NX) Must be a Team Player & also shoulder individual responsibility with little supervision Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation Excellent in communication and coordinatio Desired skills: Intercultural Experience: Minimum one years of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients. Must be able to interact with the German teams. German Language will be an added advantage. Demonstrate excellent analytical and assertive skills Experience in MB Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD (Optional) Good understanding of product development process (planning, development, production, pre and after sales, etc…) Knowledge of "Mercedes Benz" cars portfolio will be an added advantage.
