How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Record to Report Reporting Supervisor role is a key participant in leading the monthly close and consolidation, including help with the system maintenance of external/statutory consolidated financial statements, internal financial management reporting, and head office statutory financial statements primarily utilizing SAP's Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) software.
The Supervisor is responsible as a central point of contact for the business units, Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting teams, the Central Accounting Group (CAG), representing the BSC.
They will contribute with the Financial Reporting System Lead to provide reporting, administrative, and technical support related to the BPC processes and tools touching a wide range of tasks across a decentralized organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Responsible for meeting deliverables for all the consolidations activities for Airgas in BSC.
Must have working knowledge of team processes, related controls and staff assignments.Lead the monthly close and consolidation, become a subject matter expert with regards to BPC master data, currency translation, and consolidating eliminations.Lead the IRIS consolidation/reporting process.Participate in the coordination and support BPC projects based on an agreed project plan and attributes (change impact, tests, etc.
).Keep documentation up to date and provide support related to IRIS & BPC for the queries submitted by Internal Controls and External Auditors.Lead in conjunction with the Income Tax team regarding IRS or State audits.Support the maintenance of the account mapping tables between the CONSOL and IRIS BPC models to facilitate head office reporting and ensure data integrity.Establish process metrics and measures.Focal Point with Divisional Controllers for accounting matters.Are you a MATCH?COMPETENCIES: Experience with and understanding of IFRS.Chartered Accountant/Public Accountant preferred.ERP or other general ledger computer system experience.Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.Able to operate at a detailed level without losing sight of the big picture.Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines; ability to work non-standard working hours when needed.Action oriented; thrives in a dynamic environment; willing to take the initiative when the opportunity presents itself.Analytical thinker, with a strong background in accounting processes and data flows.Flexible/team player; comfortable changing directions mid-stream; able to work collaboratively with Record to Report (R2R) front line teams with an end to end mindset.Google Suite platform experience a plus.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting or a related field.Previous experience with SAP, BPC and IRIS is a plus.7+ years of financial analysis experience in a public or private company environment.High level of English proficiency is required.Demonstrate the ability to understand the end-to-end R2R processes in GL accounting and reporting.High level of ownership mindset.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Our Differences make our Performance At Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.
