What you will do
- Be hands-on in architecting and implementing frontend solutions from a given set of requirements either as an individual contributor or as a technical lead;
- Create technical work plans and execute on those plans to accomplish frontend objectives;
- Assist in maintaining existing frontend applications;
- Mentor and guide other frontend engineers;
Contribute to Wordly's engineering processes and culture to maintain a cooperative and supportive environment for all.
Must haves
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and delivering frontend solutions from a set of product requirements;
- 2+ years of experience in leading software development work in some capacity;
- A deep understanding of the Angular framework;
- A deep understanding of the React library and common React development patterns;
- Experience working with React-based frameworks such as Next.js, Vue, etc;
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
- Experience using the Git version control system;
- Able and willing to mentor other frontend engineers;
- Comfortable working with a fully remote team;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with microservice architectures;
- Experience in designing APIs;
- Experience in setting up CI / CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitLab,
TravisCI, etc;
B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution.
