Responsibilities:Concept and process evaluation and optimization for all assembly topics with focus on buildability under series conditions (Start with digital phase and take over lead function until ramp up in the plant).The ramp up location of the SUV-project is the Plant Tuscaloosa, Alabama; the location of MMA-Projects is Rastatt, Germany.The goal is to ramp up a series ready product.Take over lead function of across the board projects within your commodity.You accompany the project from the early digital feasibility testing over the construction of first hardware cars up to the final confirmation vehicles.Lead and perform complex installation trials, ensure constructive measures on partial structures and trial vehicles in collaboration with the workshop. During the production trials, you support and accompany the vehicles in the production plant in Germany and abroad.Analyze and document technical problems and quality issues during the buildup of the vehicles. Align necessary measures with our partner departments from Development (R&D), Production, Planning, Quality and others.Ensure the effectiveness of the measures on the vehicle.You will represent the requirements for a production-ready vehicle in the module groups and overarching working groups.You independently generate technical concepts for problem analysis of buildability issues in collaboration with the partner areas and develop solutions and coordinate and check their implementation.The development, coordination and implementation of measures for improvement are taken into account while tracking economic, qualitative, time and production aspects.In the project committees, you report on the product maturity level and document this comprehensively using digital tools such as ZEUS, SFMdigital and others.Frequent collaboration with the operating engineers from the production site to compare series topics, perform feasibility studies, implement product-related decisions in assembly with all relevant process partners on site.You are the first contact person for the production plant within the module group and in RD-committees.QualificationsWhat you bring to the table: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant degree required.Knowledge of the product development process and production planning processes; experience in the automotive sector would be a plus.Knowledge of MS Office, ACM, DIALOG, ZEUS and Engineering Client.English spoken and written is a must.Personal Skills:High methodological and social skills.Good technical understanding.Other:Willingness to travel and intercultural collaboration within the international production network and preventive work with R&D and supplier quality.You don't bring everything?
