Job Overview: Establishes and maintains quality standards for components, materials or services. Analyzes, prioritizes, investigates, and resolves product concerns throughout the life cycle of the product. Supports the development and launch of new products and processes.
Responsibilities: Representing quality interests in the plant and ensuring the achievement of our quality targets.Analyzes, prioritizes, investigates, and resolves product concerns throughout the life cycle of the product.Inspects and audits planning for quality gate inspection, in-process inspection, production, and quality feedback systems, and process audits.Facilitates quality audits and regulatory inspections.Researches the most economical solutions for inspection methods, instruments, and test equipment.Identifies and resolves complex non-routine issues with quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures.Assures customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers by maintaining and improving both system and vehicle quality.Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.Introducing and demanding effective quality standards and anchoring lessons learned with the relevant departments.May work with external vendors, contractors, or suppliers to make sure their products or services meet the organization's quality standards.Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings.Will perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferable in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge in the application of quality methods and problem-solving.Project management.Strong command of spoken and written English.Good knowledge of spoken and written German beneficial.Ability to work in teams.People and persuasion skills.Assertiveness in difficult situations, knowledge of current moderation and presentation techniques.We are all in for change.
