Purchase Requisition Clerk

Description • Processing and managing purchase requisitions
• Creation of purchase requisitions in SAP (module MM) as well as processing of the workflow up to the final purchase order
• Verification of procurement, including assessing delivery and performance for call-off or determining the need for commissioning by the purchasing department
• Contacting stakeholders via e-mail and telephone
• Coordination with Supply Management and Purchasing (IPS) in the event of escalation or deviation, including active tracking of orders and ensuring fast cycle times.
• Supporting the development of work instructions and guidelines for purchase requisitions
• Continuous improvement of processes (CIP)

Qualifications • University degree in financial or economy area completed or in progress;
• Initial professional experience in the field of GL accounting would be an advantage;
• IT skills: Good handling of MS Office, especially Excel, experience with SAP R/3 would be a plus;
• Good knowledge of German (minimum B2) as well as communicative written and spoken English (B1) are required;
• Experience with Excel would be an asset;
• Experience with SAP R/3 would be a plus;
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
