Project Planner (Non-F1) Brackley, UKAt the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, a group of passionate and determined people work to design, develop, manufacture and race the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Grand Prix winner George Russell.
This role is focused on Non-F1 project delivery & support, interfacing primarily between Design Engineers, Manufacturing and Build areas. As the Project Planner, you will plan and manage component availability in line with quality, cost and delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities:Managing project plans and the customer order book to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of products.Overseeing project budgets and driving cost reduction initiatives.Effective liaison with customers and internal teams such as Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Inspection, and Build areas.Demand, inventory, and materials planning, as well as expediting requests.Supporting sourcing of tooling and bought-in components, including making buy-vs-make decisions.Regular project reporting to customers, stakeholders, and senior management, along with leading customer meetings.Sales quotation and order support, cost analysis, and invoice processing.Candidate Profile:Essential: Engineering educated with project management experience.Experience of planning or scheduling in a fast-paced, demanding, prototype environment (ideally motorsport) is highly desirable.Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other programs (incl.
