Pay & Benefits$65,000 - $70,000 annual salary$10,000 - $20,000 annual performance-based bonusFlexible work-from-home policyHealth coverageMatching 401kCompany vehicleWork ResponsibilitiesAs a project manager for Lamont Bros., your job is to assist in the design of projects, estimate their costs, build the schedule and oversee the logistical side of remodeling projects while in production. Because you'll be managing several projects at once, you'll work closely with our remodeling superintendents, each of whom manages the day-to-day operations at one job site. The project manager position is a challenging and multi-faceted position. You'll handle many of the administrative tasks associated with a home remodeling project, including:
Assemble budget estimates based on design plansCreate construction schedules for remodeling projectsBuild and maintain relationships with subcontractorsUnderstand permitting and jurisdictional requirementsConduct internal review, pre-construction, and site-walk meetingsCoordinate between design team, production staff, subcontractors, and clientsThe Lamont Bros DifferenceWe work in our client's homes every day--and most of them live through the remodeling process. A project manager can expect to work on kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, additions, ADUs, and whole-home renovations. In this role, you'll be expected to balance work on multiple projects in an organized, efficient manner. To succeed as a project manager for Lamont Bros., you'll need excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of construction best practices, and strong organizational habits. The ideal candidate for this position will have:
3+ years of experience as a project manager in residential constructionBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related fieldAbility to manage a flexible workflow and meet deadlinesStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of building code in and around Portland, ORExperience in job site hazard assessmentKnowledge of construction best practices including:ConcreteFramingCabinetryTile FlooringDrywallFinish carpentryBasic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and gas
