Your Expected Tasks:
As an IT Security Architect (x/m/f/d) for charging features and hardware, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of electromobility. In the Charging Unit of Mercedes-Benz Mobility, you ensure the protection of complex subsystems of MBM's own charging ecosystem (wall boxes, charging parks, charging services, and the underlying backends) against attacks throughout their lifecycle. You coordinate the protection goals with system owners and project managers, analyze the interfaces of these complex systems, identify threats, and assess risks. You define and specify appropriate security concepts, coordinate these with system owners and project managers considering different interests, and ensure the implementation of these concepts. You plan and manage complex tests in the form of security reviews, code analyses, and penetration tests to verify the protection level of these subsystems. You also define and coordinate the typically necessary intensive collaboration with external partners. Coordination of IT security goals with system managers and project managers. You ensure that our security processes, methods, and technologies always meet the state of the art. You are embedded in a cross-departmental group of Information Security Architects (ISA)/Information Security Officers (ISO) within Mercedes-Benz Mobility. In addition, you will be part of a Mercedes-Benz-wide team of security architects, particularly from passenger car development, who design the Mercedes-Benz charging experience securely according to state-of-the-art aspects. Qualifications
What We Expect:
Completed studies in computer science and cyber security or a comparable field of study. Several years of professional experience in the context of Cyber Security, ideally in the context of industrial control systems (ICS) or embedded devices/IoT. Experience in creating threat and risk analyses and deriving resulting system requirements. Experience in the secure design of industrial control systems (ICS) or IoT as well as their secure connection to cloud backends. Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, (TISP, TPSSE) are desirable - there is also the opportunity to complete these as part of the onboarding process. Knowledge of charging ecosystem architecture is a plus, but not a requirement. Distinct ability to work in a team. Business fluent English and a good understanding of German. High level of self-responsibility and strong conceptual and analytical skills. Enjoyment in creative design and contributing own ideas in an organizationally distributed and VUCA environment. Enthusiasm for electromobility (both personally / professionally). What We Offer:
