The Product Specialist is a pivotal position responsible for showcasing and promoting our products. This role plays a crucial part in educating customers, providing product demonstrations, and contributing to sales success. The purpose of this position is to enhance the overall customer experience, drive product awareness, and support the achievement of sales targets.
Essential Duties: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of our productsStay updated on product updates, new releases, and industry trendsEngage with customers to understand their needs and preferencesProvide detailed product information and address customer inquiries effectivelyConduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and capabilitiesHighlight the value proposition of our products to potential customersCollaborate with the sales team to support product-related sales effortsProvide product expertise during sales presentations and meetingsConduct training sessions for internal teams, including sales representatives, to enhance product knowledgeFacilitate workshops for customers to deepen their understanding of our productsStay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer preferencesProvide insights and feedback to contribute to product development and improvementAssist in the creation of product documentation, brochures, and marketing collateralEnsure accuracy and consistency in product-related materialsGather and analyze customer feedback on productsCommunicate customer insights to the product development team for continuous improvementMiscellaneous duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 1 year experience working in a dealership or in a similar roleHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in sales or customer-facing roles is advantageousProven ability to provide an exceptional customer experienceAbility to communicate technical details in a clear and understandable mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present information in an engaging and compelling mannerDedication to providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to build rapport with customers and internal teamsFlexibility to adapt to changing product offerings and market dynamicsValid driver's license and a good driving recordAt Capital Automotive Group, our vision is to be the most respected auto group in North America.
