Procurement Specialist – Shale Oil & Gas

For our client, a leading Oil & Gas operator, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist for Shale Oil and Gas to join the C&P (Contracts & Procurement) team.
The role involves managing Shales procurement for both Gas and Oil, overseeing medium-complexity contracts aligned with business needs, ensuring HSSE standards, and maintaining supply continuity by addressing the Company's requirements.
Accountabilities:Engage with colleagues and stakeholders within Shales Business and Functions to collaborate across organizational boundaries and deliver substantial value by:Developing and executing fit-for-purpose commercial strategies and work plans for Tactical spend, aligned with Category Management strategies and Category Leads.Providing a strong commercial influence with optimizing demand and specifications.Supporting Manage the Tail initiatives and rationalize the number of Contracts/Suppliers.Sharing best practices and external market dynamics to deliver value.Implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to streamline, simplify, standardize and improve performance.Ensure compliance with Ethics and Compliance requirements, as well as the Company's Control Framework.Delivering end-to-end cost savings impacting RDS bottom line.Minimum Requirements:Significant experience in Procurement or a related field.Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Law, Economics, or Finance.Fluency in English.Expertise in negotiation and commercial transactions.Skilled in taking initiative, influencing others, and making timely decisions with limited data.Knowledge of SAP and RtP processes (advantageous).Strong organizational and analytical abilities; works well independently and in teams.Proven success in implementing Continuous Improvement projects.
