How you'll play your part We're looking for someone highly-motivated and proactive, who can deliver innovative solutions to business opportunities and has proven ability to independently manage data and create meaningful results by using Procurement related IT Tools. In this role you will be collecting, processing, and analyzing procurement data to support decision-making of procurement management. Other essential responsibilities will be:
Develop dashboards if needed and use current dashboards and reports to track procurement metrics and KPIs.Conduct spending analysis, supplier performance analysis, and market research.Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements in procurement processes.Collaborate with procurement management, finance, and IT teams to integrate data from various sources.Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.In this role you will also be representing Mercedes-Benz in the UK to all suppliers and maintaining the contract condition negotiations with the suppliers on behalf of MBUK Ltd with the directions from buyers, Legal Department, and Procurement Management.
You'll be an excellent communicator and be able to foster collaborative relationships with the regional enablers in Procurement Headquarters to ensure the most effective connection between the UK purchasing organization and the headquarters in terms of process updates and applications of them in UK.
You'll have a sound understanding of contract law and legislation with experience of coordinating the creation of complex agreements together with Legal & Compliance Departments and Internal Business Partners, as you'll be completing and coordinating the negotiation processes of contract terms, excluding commercial conditions.
You'll have a degree in fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and analytical, with a high level of expertise in Data Analysis tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau and needs to have broader experience in PowerPoint and other presentation tools to be able to demonstrate the results in the best way. Possess a sound understanding of economic principles, the economic environment, and organizational structure is essential.
