PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP's Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is amid ongoing transformation that will change how GPO engages with its stakeholders. This transformation is necessary to keep up with the fast-changing environment, develop into a digital organization, meet the Board's ambitious growth plans, and support SAP's strategy.

Deliver on SAP Vision: Help the world run better and improve people's lives.Strive for GPO Vision: Help SAP buy better and be a Business Value Enabler for all procurement-related activities globally.GPO mission is to help our stakeholders run at their best.Support execution of GPO Goals.ABOUT THE GPO SOURCING EXCELLENCE CHAMPIONS (SEC) TEAM The Sourcing Excellence Champions (SEC) Team is responsible for customer success, strategy execution, sourcing, negotiation, contracting activities, and supplier management across the globe. The SEC Team manages SAP's main spend categories IT Infrastructure, Workplace Infrastructure, Professional Services, Marketing, and Travel.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Execute sourcing projects on a local, regional basis in RFP's Process and Tickets services environment.Prepare sourcing, contracting, and negotiations based on analysis and ticket processes.Analyze and seek opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with the wider sourcing team to implement sourcing strategies that ensure best value for SAP.Pro-actively support market analysis, benchmarking, track market trends, and manage supplier performance.Understand supplier capability assessments.Manage supplier portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits.Identify opportunities for increased competitive bidding and more efficient procurement processes.Support the development and execution of RFP's, managing requirements including pricing negotiations.Negotiate agreements with suppliers and work with SAP requesters to ensure appropriate contract approvals are obtained and documented.Drive all procurement-related activities and support other areas of the sourcing team including projects as needed.Ensure compliance with the SAP Global Purchasing Policy.EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES University degree preferably in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing strategies and how to execute a global strategy.Strong customer focus, presentation skills, and business acumen.Open-minded and willing to drive change.Initiate simplicity and challenge complexity.Knowledge of purchasing systems (e.g., Ariba), MS office applications, and purchasing processes.Fluent English (spoken, written), other languages are welcome.Ability to work in international teams and virtual environments.WORK EXPERIENCE At least 2-3 years' experience in procurement negotiations in indirect procurement environments, ideally in a multinational environment.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and translate business requirements into actionable procurement activity.Ability to apply purchasing knowledge to execute sourcing projects.Proven experience leading successful execution and delivery of strategy.Global experience preferred.Ability to establish clear priorities and effectively manage multiple demands and time resources.Bring out your best SAP innovations help customers work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
