About the Role:As a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Cloud, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance cloud solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud architecture, driving best practices, and guiding cross-functional teams in delivering complex cloud-based systems. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, a strong background in software engineering, and the ability to influence and mentor other engineers.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina - Hybrid (Remote with office attendance 2-3 times a week)
Key Responsibilities:Cloud Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Ensure that solutions are optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams. Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud development and microservices architecture.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver cloud solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs.Process Improvement: Define and enhance processes for cloud development and deployment. Implement and advocate for best practices in cloud infrastructure management and software development.Advanced Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges related to cloud services, containerization, and microservices. Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for high-impact issues.Methodology Expertise: Apply Agile methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum, to manage and deliver projects effectively.
