Mercedes-Benz Adelaide are seeking a professional, can-do Sales Manager to join our Certified Pre-Owned sales team.
You will manage the sales department by identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales volume and revenue and to ensure consistent profitable growth for the franchise through positive planning and management of the sales team.
What will you be doing Establish short- and long-term sales targets for sales teamEnsure sales consultants follow the sales process in accordance with company proceduresActively prospect and monitor new business opportunities with sales team, new clients and existing clientsMonitor market trends and advise the General Manager of changes in competition, product availability or related matters and provide suitable action plansEvaluate the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback to sales consultantsRegularly review monthly P&L accounts, vehicle stock levels and stock ageing levels and identify areas requiring attentionManage the accurate recording of sales and sales prospecting in the company prospecting systemEnsure all advertising, sales promotion material and branch displays are in accordance with agreed programsRegularly review staff levels to ensure they are adequate to meet targetsEnsure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficientlySkills & Experience Strong leadership abilityDemonstrated industry experience preferred, but not essentialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh standard of personal presentationProblem solving and analytical skillsCommercial acumenNegotiation and marketing skillsHold a current SA driver licenceSound IT skillsetEnjoy the CMV Benefits Competitive Base salary plus commissionOngoing training and development opportunities provided both in-house and with our manufacturer.Improve your Mind, Body, and Soul with CMV Care, including access to discounted fitness programs, and the CMV Peer Support Program.
