As a member of the Hacienda Spa team, you will play an integral role in representing the Los Poblanos brand and our unique well-being model. You will have the opportunity to enrich the guest experience by connecting guests to our historic property and organic farm through spa and wellness services. The pool attendant is responsible for monitoring the pool facility, greeting, and engaging with guests,enforcing pool policiesand maintaining the overall aesthetic standards of the area.

Duties & Responsibilities Promptly welcome and acknowledge guests by name Provide orientation tour of the pool facility, explaining pool/spa amenities and answering guests' questions Actively build a rapport with guests to understand the nature of their stay allowing us to anticipate their needs and create a customized experience Walk all assigned areas throughout shift; remove dirty towels, pick up trash and service trays Issue and restock pool linen and supplies to ensure proper inventory levels Set up and/or breakdown pool area daily Maintain pool showers and bathroom area throughout shift Maintain a safe, clean, stockedand well-organized environment Assist in facilitating guest activities and seasonal offerings at the pool Follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures Strive to create a personalized experience for every guest Foster a work environment of teamwork and mutual service by assisting coworkers and other departments as necessary to exceed our guest's expectations Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously Actively promote spa treatments, wellness offerings, promotionsand general property information Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision Work in conjunction with the F&B department to provide drink and food service to guests Regularly attendant and participate in spa trainings and meetings Follow opening and closing checklist as assigned by management Be on time for scheduled shift and uphold a good attendance record Assist with the setup and cleanup of wellness classes Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management Essential Job Functions Must possess a cooperative and positive attitude Warm and kind, goal-oriented and outgoing with great people skills Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task Must be able to interact professionally and with sensitivity to the needs of the guests and co-workers Demonstrate respect, sensitivityand concern for guests' needs with a professional and pleasant manner Collaboration and partnering – Identifies opportunities and take action to build relationships between individuals, teamsand departments, to help achieve business goals Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention immediately Act as a positive role model and ambassador for Los Poblanos, its employeesand the community Maintain up to date knowledge on property Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to regularly lift and/ or move 15 pounds Must be available to work varying shifts such as: nights, weekendsand holidays Must have 2+ years customer service experience Alcohol servers license Must be 19+ years old Understanding of, and enthusiastic about, LP well-being model Provide the highest standards for professionalism, hospitalityand collaboration Appreciative of LP's unique setting on an organic farm with inn, spa, shop and restaurant patrons on property at any given time #J-18808-Ljbffr
