Pipe Fitter

JOB SUMMARY: Install, maintain, and repair both high- and low-pressure pipe systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases.
They may also install heating and cooling equipment and regulating-control systems to reduce water or energy consumption.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspecting the workplace, clearing obstructions, and preparing materials and equipment.Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications.Measuring and cutting pipes according to requirements and threading.Assembling and welding pipe components and systems.Securing pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.Cutting copper tubing according to written instructions.Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related equipment.Clearing and maintaining pipe systems tools of obstructions and testing their functionality.Collaborate with other workers (e.g., plumbers, painters) to produce finished constructions.Performing other duties as assigned.Following established safety rules, regulations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.REQUIREMENTS: At least two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the construction industry.Own transportation to travel to and from the construction projects.AIREKO is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
