Job DescriptionPosition: Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Intrepid Spirit Clinic, NHCP, Camp Pendleton, CA Schedule: Monday through Friday (Excluding Federal Holidays)
Shifts: 8.5, 9, or 10.5 hours between 0600 to 1800Includes a 30-minute or 1-hour uncompensated meal-break (Depending on shift length)Maximum 80 hours per two-week periodMinimum Qualifications: Degree: Associate's DegreeEducation: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant within the past two yearsLicense: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapy assistant or possess current certification as a physical therapy assistant/technician as determined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)Core Duties: Implement corrective exercise and treatment programs for assigned patients under the direction of the physical therapistAdminister treatments such as exercise, gait training, massage, whirlpool, hot packs, diathermy, ultrasound, paraffin, ice packs, and tractionInstruct patients on program segments and proper use of mobility aids and devicesMonitor patient responses to treatments, evaluate progress, and report findings to the physical therapistFit and train patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devicesCollaborate with the physical therapy team and other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient treatment programsIf you possess the required qualifications and are dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients, we invite you to apply for the position of Physical Therapy Assistant at our clinic.
