Job DescriptionQuick Starts: Corrections openings PhlebotomistLocation: Centinela, CAPay Rate: $22/hr on W2Shift: MON-FRI (6am - 2:30pm) - (40 hrs. Guaranteed)Contract: 6 monthsJob Overview: Perform venipuncture and finger sticks using standard equipment including vacutainer tubes, sleeves, tourniquets, blood culture, syringes, and butterfly needles. Communicate to patient/youth on the procedure to be done. Collect and distribute specimens from patient/youth for laboratory testing per testing requirements. Centrifuge, label, and store blood samples for analysis by CCHCS Clinical Laboratory staff and/or external laboratory service providers. Maintain inventory of supplies, stock supplies, and hand trays.
Requirements of Phlebotomist: Minimum 1 year Phlebotomy experienceCA CPT# license/CertificationMost updated ResumeDriver's License front and backBLS card2 professional references from supervisor or manager (Name, Title, phone #, and email)These positions are a Quick start.
