Position Summary: Our organization is seeking a seasoned Product Delivery Lifecycle (PDLC) Group Leader who will play a pivotal role in driving accountability and efficiency throughout our product delivery process. This leader will work closely with both front-end and back-end teams, focusing on optimizing our project management system—primarily through Jira—to facilitate the timely and high-quality delivery of features. The PDLC Group Leader will ensure that teams are aligned with company objectives and contractual obligations, empowering them to meet deadlines and deliver high-caliber results.
Compensation: Pay in (US Dollars) DOE
Contract Phase: Initially, you will be engaged as a contractor working remotely. You will need to register with Argentine tax authorities and choose an appropriate tax regime, such as Monotributo or the general tax regime (Responsable Inscripto). You will be responsible for issuing invoices for the services you provide and will receive payment in US dollars. Once our Buenos Aires office is established, we plan to offer contractors the opportunity to transition to full-time, onsite positions

Expectations: Uphold and embody the company's core values, with an emphasis on "Product Delivery over Personal Delivery." Manage projects using an adaptive waterfall methodology, optimizing delivery timelines and resource allocation. Collaborate with the PDLC Architecture Co-Leader to ensure that the backend systems are continually optimized and in sync with the broader PDLC framework. Facilitate the production and continuous improvement of the company's adaptive waterfall Gantt chart, integrating dependencies, blockers, and due dates. Maintain PDLC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including: Jira Use and Project Management Policies Project and Development Lifecycle Understanding Ticket Management and Workflow Structures Alignment of Deliverables with Company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) Continuous Delivery, Monthly Progress Showcases, and Accountability Drive compliance with PDLC policies across the organization and ensure senior leaders are equipped to train their teams. Engage regularly with company partners, conducting status meetings and collaborating within Jira projects. Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed progress reports at individual, department, and company-wide levels, and provide actionable insights. Implement a reward system for high performers and create support mechanisms for those needing assistance. Oversee Jira configurations: workflows, custom fields, filtering, and user provisioning. Leverage Jira Dashboards and Automation; ensure effective use of add-ons, time logs, and integration with Confluence and WBS Gantt. Drive consistent project delivery, set the pace for the team, and foster a culture of accountability and celebration. Troubleshoot Jira-related issues, develop documentation, and train teams on Jira best practices. Provide leadership and mentorship to the PDLC team, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. PMP Certification (preferred) Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 10+ years in proven Waterfall PMO Leadership 5+ years strong Jira experience with ability to do light Jira configuration Experience working with multiple teams; reporting to C-suite. Ability to identify process improvements; manage multiple projects. Strong leadership and ability to communicate in a technical/stoic manner Quick decision-making; motivate teams; experience with dictation software.
