Location: Pune
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role with experience in managing expat/assignee payroll.
Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management: Execute and manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.Payroll Compliance and Reporting: Ensure payroll processes comply with local and international regulations. Prepare and submit required payroll reports and documentation.Master Data Management: Maintain and manage employee master data in all relevant HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Update records of new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.Exit Formalities: Handle exit formalities for departing employees, including final settlements, clearance processes, access removal, and exit interviews. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Expat/Assignee Management: Oversee and manage all overseas assignments, including expatriate payroll, tax compliance, and relocation support. Ensure compliance with international payroll regulations and timely compliance related to expat/assignees. Coordinate with Mercedes-Benz AG for expats (inbounds and outbounds) to facilitate their visa and other documentation requirements.Engagement Activities: Support and manage employee engagement activities including:Scholarship Scheme: Administer the scholarship program ensuring eligible employees and their dependents receive timely and accurate payment.Suggestions Scheme: Manage the Suggestion scheme, including processing suggestions, coordinating reviews, and ensuring any financial rewards are accurately reflected in the payroll.Loyalty Awards: Administer loyalty awards, ensuring employees receive recognition and financial rewards for their milestones.Birthday Cards: Coordinate and send birthday cards to employees to celebrate their special day.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and data management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Audits: Assist with internal and external payroll audits providing necessary documentation and explanations.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll processes, practices, and regulations.Proficiency in HR and payroll software systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent organizational and data management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.OrganizationMercedes-Benz India Private Limited
