Our Test Integration and Implementation (TI&I) team, part of the CIB's Digital & Platform Services, is at the forefront of transforming testing, data, environments, and release management.
We're seeking a Vice President to lead our UAT team, delivering testing support to Latin America on multiple projects.
The role requires previous testing and Payments domain knowledge, along with test automation skills.
As a Vice President Payments Test Lead within the Test Integration and Implementation team, you will be tasked with the leadership of a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team and providing testing support for multiple projects in Latin America.
Your responsibilities will encompass team and personnel management, planning requirements against an End-to-End test strategy, and pinpointing opportunities for testing automation.
You will also be expected to contribute to the strategic implementation of an automated testing solution.
This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups, and to represent Test Integration and Implementation for Latin America in prioritization and scheduling meetings.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading a test team which would involve daily supervision, allocation of duties, timely resolution of testing issues, and regular communication with reporting manager.Requires planning against an End-to-End test strategy, including test data, environments, defect management, and test automation.Responsible for the provision of accurate testing estimates within weekly prioritization and scheduling meetings.Ensures regional and global TII partners are engaged timely to plan integrated tests when it involves platform or downstream systems not covered by LATAM team.Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that User Acceptance Testing team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments.Ability to effectively represent TII LATAM in prioritization and scheduling meetings and stand in for the Program Test Manager.Ability to manage expectations of both stakeholders and teams supporting End-to-End test execution.Identification of testing automation opportunities and test synergies within the Project.Responsible for completing a knowledge audit / matrix on each team member, documenting any gaps, taking steps to fill those gaps and ultimately ensuring that all user acceptance testing skills are transferable across the team.Escalates daily issues to the Program Test Manager and manages expectations regarding testing and project timeline.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience in Corporate & Investment Bank Payments business function.Testing experience, Agile methodology and Automation skills with experience as a project team leader.Very strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates on their work to team members, colleagues, senior leads, executives, and clients.Ability to lead a team, recognizing individuality, supporting growth through mentoring and coaching built on an unshakeable foundation of respect, diversity and inclusivity.Strong organizational skills with the ability to dynamically manage and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and to tight deadlines.PowerPoint / Pitch Pro skills with the ability to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review.Effective change management skills: ability to support & adapt within a changing environment.Ability to liaise effectively between lines of business with empathy and understanding to achieve the common and strategic goal as a team.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor degree (with relevant experience) preferred.Project / Agile methodology Qualification preferred.Working knowledge of direct testing with Clearing Houses and Central Banks would be an advantage.Functional knowledge of Payments.Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills.Ability to handle multiple projects, manage personnel & team management in order to meet stakeholder expectations.Ability to build and nurture effective and lasting relationships with colleagues, team members and stakeholders across multiple business lines and global locations.ABOUT US J.P.
