Objective of Job - Provide IP expertise on protecting company new technologies through intellectual property application.
- Collaborate with team members and other teams for various IP promotion and activities.
- Coach and guide the internal customers to follow company's IP policy with patent filings.
Responsibilities Inspire invention disclosures from the responsible department. Upon receiving an invention, conduct a patent search and prepare a search report from a technical perspective.Patent prosecution: drafting patent application, preparing the responses to OA, working out PCT filing strategy, and completing all relevant processes in the company's system.Plan, organize, coordinate, and provide IP activities to internal colleagues to explore ideas, promote awareness, and harvest invention disclosures.Collaborate with and/or support other team members in completing jointly cooperative projects.Cooperate with HQ IP team to work on the comprehensive IP topic in order to protect local R&D results.Coordinate other relevant IP issues and provide consultation to BUs, and coordinate with/instruct external law firms.Qualifications Education
- Bachelor degree or above in science and engineering.
- An educational background in intellectual property is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the patent field, including patent searching, drafting, prosecuting, etc.
- Professional knowledge in automotive structure and components is an advantage.
- Experience in event/activities planning is a plus.
