Job Overview The Parts Transportation team is responsible for the physical movement of dealership parts orders into the United States to the Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs), and from the PDCs outbound to the dealers for final delivery.
This includes the management of various suppliers across multiple transportation modes (ocean, air, truck), performance oversight, payment & invoicing, network planning, and continuous improvement.
This role will be responsible for overhauling the team shared drive, creating structure, removing obsolescence, and ensuring all relevant documents are included.
Additionally, they will spend time with each team member to understand role responsibilities and create robust job-specific onboarding guides for each position.
Responsibilities Align with Manager on proposal for shared drive structure & gather input from each sub-team on functions/categories to be included.Develop a logical flow of folder/file hierarchy to make it easy and sensible to find relevant documents.Create job onboarding guides for each role which are detailed enough for a new hire to know the basics about MBUSA, the department/team, and their role – including who to contact, initial meetings to set up, etc.Qualifications Education To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior or senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.
