Job Overview: Undertakesandleadsinvestigating,analyzingandcorrectingproblemsofsupplierpartsthroughcollaborativepartnerships within the company and with suppliers to ensure the incoming quality functionality of these parts.
Responsibilities: - Assesses unusual circumstances, suggests variations in approaches and incomplete or conflicting data
- Assistwithtests(e.g.contouringaccuracy,chemical-physicalinteractions)andchecksontheinteractionofsinglepartsto ensure functionality and explains information to audiences who are not familiar with the subject
- Ensuresimplementationandexecutionofproblemsolvingofoftenuncleardefinedpartsproblemswithinsufficient information
- Exercises judgement in the evaluation, selection, and adaption of both standard and complex techniques and procedures
- Initiates the Q:HELP escalation process
- Participatesinregularlyscheduledteammeetings;Organizesandleadssuppliermeetingsincaseofpartsissues.Initiates under general guidance and direction further escalation steps
- Plansindependentlyallrequiredquality-relevantactivitiesduringtheclaimprocessincludingrequestingandapprovalof8D reports from the supplier and makes sure sustainable actions to avoid failures in the future are taken
- Preparetestswithinterdependenciesandensurestestprocesssuitability.Interpretstheresultsofthetestsinreflectiontothe existing problem and necessary measures
- Preparesindependentlyclaimsandcomplaintsofpartsissuestothesupplier,coordinateswithotherdepartmentsandthe supplier dirt point, clean point and the sorting of the supply chain and rework opti(...)
- Supports analysis (e.g. noise, vibration) and collaborates on solutions with other departments and vendors
- Supports with concepts and initiates actions to improve products and/or processes with vendors and monitors effectiveness
- UsescomplexQMmethods(e.g.riskmanagementofproductionprocessesandparts,reliabilityforecast)andfailure analysis. Organizes and performs process audits at supplier's site as lead process auditor

Qualifications
Qualifications: - Technical university degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, electronics or other comparable training.
- 5+yearsofexperienceintheareasofQualityManagementandSeriesQualityAssuranceaswellasinotherproduction- related units, Development, Planning, and/or Technical Procurement.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job
Knowledge & Skills: - Knowledge in the application of complex quality methods
- Experience in the area of supplier management
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of spoken and written German is beneficial
- Good knowledge of spoken and written Spanish is desirable
- Ability to work in teams is requested
- People and persuasion skills
- Requires strong multicultural awareness to appropriately deliver messages
- Assertiveness in difficult situations, knowledge of current moderation and presentation techniques
- Quick comprehension of unknown processes and their dependencies
