Parts Driver

Mercedes-Benz Kitchener-Waterloo is looking for a Parts Driver!
Our Parts Driver is responsible for the delivery and pick up of parts for internal and external customers in a safe and timely manner, both in a professional and courteous manner. The Parts Delivery Driver will also assist with inventory to support accuracy and productivity.

Job Duties: Pick-up and delivery of parts from customers and other locations.Shipping and Receiving (Daily and Stock orders).Loading and unloading daily deliveries.Receiving and shipping engine cores.Picking parts & ensure fill quantity of daily pick tickets.Pick up parts for shop not supplied by parts department.Follows prescribed safety procedures at all times to protect staff, customers, general public, merchandise, and property.Properly loads and protects all product for delivery.Uses and maintains material handling equipment per process.Handles paperwork accurately and acquires all signatures per process.Checks shipments to ensure accuracy according to information on the packing slip.Ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery schedule and a professional attitude.Order Picking/Receiving.Stock shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment.Ensure the parts department is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion at all times.Any additional duties as required. Successful Candidates Possess: Completion of high school diploma or vocational equivalent.Responsible to maintain any required License.Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English fluently.Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
