Description: The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Parts Administrator Inventory Clerk must perform all administrative tasks associated with the Parts Department and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time. The Parts Administrator Inventory Clerk maintains parts inventory organization for business efficiency and contributes to the overall health of the inventory strategy.
The Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Parts Administrator Inventory Clerk must consistently provide outstanding brand and customer experience throughout the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
Essential Functions:Submit VOR and Stock OrdersAbility to work with StockPro RIM systemOrder, check, log, and file all documentation for Theft Related PartsSubmit Special Procurement ordersPrint invoices and delivery notes and reconcile invoices to delivery notesReview inventory reports with Parts ManagerAccess obsolescence, stock and VOR orders, backorders and open ordersWork with Accounting on monthly parts reconciliation spreadsheetInitiate and confirm vendor payments issuedCheck parts ETA for all Parts Sales RepresentativesCreate damage returns, special returns and shortagesOrder necessary supplies for the Parts DepartmentReview and code the consolidated parts statement accordinglyProcess, pull and adjust parts inventory accordingly for parts transactionsOversee and assist in parts receiving and stock inventoryEnsure parts are debited to proper repair orders and invoicesOversee parts inventory and make necessary adjustments to correct parts countAbility to train parts staff members to investigate and locate missing partsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong ability to troubleshoot and give directionExcellent communication and organizational skillsFunction well in a high-paced team environment which at times may be stressfulAbility to work independentlyMaintain a clean and safe work areaAttention to detail, sense of urgency and results drivenPay Range: $25-$28
Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent3+ years' previous parts administration/inventory experienceMust be able to work weekends and holidays, if necessaryBe able to withstand physical demands of the jobExperience with CDK or other automotive software is a plusGeneral knowledge of processes, software, costs, and other techniques to achieve maximum efficiencyAbility to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basisOrganization:Organization: Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, Inc.
