Lead & manage a team of 3 staff, covering 3 countries (Brazil, United States, Canada),Ability to work independently and as part of a team and deliver to tight deadlinesIdentify training and development needs on the team members and to build a plan to ensure these needs are met to improve team performanceFirst escalation point - Ensure issues are resolved quickly for all internal and external stakeholdersOwner of the invoice posting, staff expenses, credit card posting and payments processes for the regionProvide support to P2P staff for any changes in the P2P process or Finance / Accounting policies as a result of automation, improvement projects, global deployment or audit recommendationActively support and contribute to cross department initiatives (R2R, O2C mainly) and collaborate to support the evolution of the P2P department to 'best in class'A key point of contact with the Auditors (both internal and external) for the systems audit and end of year auditFor the countries in scope, ensure all ledgers are maintained, supplier reconciliations are completed accurately and on timeResponsible for the aged creditors, coordinate team efforts to clean up aged balances in AP and take necessary actions to prevent these in the futureAssist with improving the current KPIsRectify any errors in a timely manner and ensure that improved processes are adopted to avoid errors in the futureOther tasks as maybe assigned by the P2P Team ManagerProvide support to the P2P ManagerP2P Process review and update when needed due to system improvements or new tax regulationsTake part in global initiatives (efficiency programs / implementations)Assure Risk & Controls Matrix and Roles and Responsabilities complianceCoordination,organization and settlement of priorities for the teamStakeholder management considering rigidity of processes and compliance with local regulations and corporate policies - drive difficult and sensible conversations
