Job Description  Role:
Understanding of ORVM, IRVM and Glazing design and development –regulatory check, fixation stratergy, etc.  To create multiple proposals and concept to the defined quality standards. To work independently on design development for different projects. Coordination with international supplier in terms of design and development, interact with CFTs & participate in technical forums during the entire development process. To understand and evaluate the Vehicle level/system level Testing according to the Homologation requirements. Work on a project on 'Sustainable materials' & 'New trends & Innovations' Qualifications Skills Knowledge of regulatory requirements FMVSS & ECE for ORVM, IRVM and Glazing. Knowledge of fixation stratergy, gaps and flushness, tolerance management. Knowhow of working with PLM tools like Team center. Plastic design knowhow: Injection molding ,glazing manufacturing process press firming and gravity bending  Strong interpersonal & communication skills Ability to learn & adapt quickly, explore new ideas German language speaking skills will be an added advantage. Experience on working on PLM (Product life cycle management) software Have experienced product development processes like APQP (QFD, DFMEA, and PFMEA)/VDA, DOE, PPAP in Automotive industry. Experience of working in Cross functional teams & Suppliers Independently managed Component design /development phases General requirements: Self-motivated Excellent Interpersonal/Communication skills (Cross-functional negotiations, presentations to committees, etc..)
