LOCATION: DEPARTMENT: PURPOSE
Coordinates plant operations, developing and maintaining materials handling and transportation procedures, receiving complaints and rejections, providing preventive and corrective actions, and carrying out activities in the quality system including internal audits, fault analysis, and follow-up of nonconformities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES Coordinates and controls the plant industrial management implementing the necessary actions to meet Tenaris quality, safety and productivity goals.Performs global selection and recruitment of surveyors for unload and transfer operations.Detects shipping incidents by analyzing nonconformities/incidents.Ensures that Tenaris has the best suppliers in the market by establishing supplier evaluation and rating procedures.Ensures the optimization of procedures keeping pipe handling, transportation and ship acceptance procedures up to date.Provides quality assurance carrying out activities in the Quality Management System, including internal audits, fault analysis, indicators definition, trend analysis, nonconformities follow-up and corrective actions for supply chain problems.Ensures the observance and respect for the consumption targets/goals and promotes its improvement, considering actions on employees' behaviour, defining all the appropriate interventions that aim to optimize required energy and reduce the consumption waste.Complies with HSE procedures, reports any incident or observation, performs inspections and participates in the investigation process.Implements the preventive/corrective actions.
Keeps updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
