About the program Wesley Dalmar is a leading out-of-home care agency in NSW. We have a long-standing and proud history of caring for children, young people, and their families since 1893.
About the role We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our Out-of-Home Care team based in Bella Vista. You will support children, young people, families, and foster carers, in out-of-home care and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children and young people on your caseload. The Case Manager works within the framework of the Department of Communities and Justice, Permanency Support Program. Your caseload would include working towards Restoration, Guardianship, Adoption, and Long-Term Care.
This is a child-related role, and the Case Manager engages with children between 0 and 18 years of age.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social WelfareExperience in casework practice in out-of-home careKnowledge, skills, and experience working with children and familiesDemonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standardAbility to liaise, network, and maintain solid working relationships with community groups and government departmentsExcellent administrative and time management skillsExperience in managing electronic files and databasesCurrent Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtainKnowledge of therapeutic care frameworksKnowledge and experience in the Permanency Support ProgramTwo years' experience working with children and families and/or in the OOHC fieldKnowledge of the children's court system and required court documentationRemuneration Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 5 Pay Point 1, with capacity for salary packaging and the provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle available for private use. Superannuation is paid in addition at 11.5%.
