We are seeking a friendly and professional Office Assistant to serve as our Welcome Ambassador. This role combines traditional office support duties with a strong emphasis on creating a positive first impression for visitors and employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic office environment:
Location: Puerto Madero, Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Work model: On site.
Contract Type: Indefinite-term.
Responsibilities: Greet and welcome visitors, employees, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.Manage the front desk area, ensuring a tidy and welcoming appearance at all times.Handle visitor check-in procedures, including issuing visitor badges and notifying appropriate staff of arrivals.Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with set-up when required.Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.Provide basic information about the company and its services to visitors.Assist new employees with orientation procedures and distribute welcome packages.Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including keeping informational materials up-to-date.Support the organization of office events and gatherings.Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.Assist with maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary.Ensure adherence to security protocols for visitor access and egress.Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth office operations.Requirements: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an office environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office management software.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Discretion in handling confidential information.Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
