Summary:This part-time position promotes and maintains quality patient care through effective management of patient flow and supervision of patient care areas during their assigned tour of duty; acts as the on-site administrator in the organization after normal business hours and has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-Call; evaluates and manages departmental resources. This position includes both a base pay and geographic differential. The pay range for this position is $56.17 - $66.18 per hour.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; orBachelor's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; orAssociate's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience; orAssociate's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and one (1) year of nursing supervisory/lead experience.NOTES: Incumbents must obtain and maintain applicable certification, as required by area of specialty, within eighteen (18) months of appointment to this position as a condition of continued employment in this title.As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementRoswell Park Cancer Institute Corporation (RPCIC) and Health Research Inc.
