Nursery Supervisor (Swine)

Job ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage the overall activities of the Nursery section.Make rounds inside the building to ensure that any deviation from normal activities is properly addressed.Monitor the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures in the Nursery Section.Consult and coordinate with the Production Manager and Farm Manager on matters that need to be addressed in the specific area of responsibility.Ensure compliance with bio-security protocols.Conduct proper monitoring of health conditions by doing daily rounds.Plan the working schedule for personnel to sustain manpower requirements.Prepare daily and weekly inventory reports to be submitted to the Production Manager and Farm Manager.Attend weekly regular meetings.Oversee vaccination based on protocol.Ensure cleanliness of the section.Train and supervise all personnel reporting to you.Discuss operations with the animal production staff regularly.Exhibit willingness to be trained and demonstrate good leadership skills.Perform other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.Diagnose diseases or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observations as a basis for proper treatment.
