Duties & ResponsibilitiesAct as an ambassador and representative for the Los Poblanos property and cities of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Albuquerque and Santa FeWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests' service needsRespond rapidly to customer requests in a professional and hospitable mannerLearn the tasting room menu so that it can be explained to our guestsLearn the wholesale lavender line so that it can be explained and sold to our guestsServe food and beverage orders to guests in a timely and courteous mannerPrepare food and beverageBus & clean tasting room surfacesOperate as a team member of the retail shop and the tasting roomPerform opening and closing proceduresPerform other job-related duties as assignedEssential Job FunctionsAssist customers with seating arrangementsPresent food or beverage information or menus to customersTake ordersPrepare beverages as neededAssemble food as neededServe food and beveragesCommunicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfactionEnforce rules or regulationsProcess customer bills or paymentsBus tables as neededClean food service areas as neededStock serving stations or dining areas with food or suppliesAssist in the retail space as needed - ringing customers, wrapping orders, etc.Assist with wholesale lavender as neededRequirementsA minimum of (1) year of experience working in a restaurant or barCompletion of Serve SafeValid Alcohol Server's PermitMust display a professional appearance and shared fate attitudeExcellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills requiredAble to work under pressure and remain calm to resolve problems using good judgmentAble to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a teamProblem solving skills and deductive reasoning abilitiesHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMust be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach and walk 8 to 10 hours a dayAble to grasp, lift, carry.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
