The Opportunity We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced NDIS Accounts Officer for a full-time position based in Bella Vista, NSW.
Your key responsibilities will include: Accounts Payable Reconciliation: Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and supplier statements. Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner and ensure proper coding and authorisation of invoices in coordination with internal teams.Debt Recovery: Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up with customers for timely payments, and maintain accurate debt records. Resolve payment issues through professional customer communication.System Administration: Support financial database and accounting system maintenance, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Assist in process improvements and generate reports to support financial decision-making.NDIS Plan Monitoring: Track NDIS plan dates, milestones, and compliance with agreements, ensuring all updates or changes are properly recorded and communicated.You will have experience in the following: Proven experience in finance or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in accounts payable and receivable functions.Sound knowledge of financial reconciliation and reporting processes.A strong understanding of NDIS Pricing arrangements and experience working with NDIS Plans.A relevant qualification or certification in accounting or finance would be desirable although not essential.Your profile will include: Strong values-based operator with great interpersonal and relationship building skills.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and related plans would be advantageous.If you are ready to make a difference in this role, please submit your resume/CV and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria by clicking on 'Apply for this job' above.
