How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? As a Reporting and Automation Analyst for the Cluster North America, you will be a key member of the new Center of Excellence Management Accounting & Reporting, and will be an instrumental part of the Operations Control team of the Cluster. Reporting to the Director, COE Management Accounting & Reporting, you will work hand in hand with the Management Accounting Analysts of the COE, the Operations Control teams, the Record to Report team of the BSC, the Business Intelligence team, and operational teams.
This position will give you a unique, transversal view into the financial and business processes of the Air Liquide North American Cluster, working with different teams in several geographies. It will also give you a strong exposure to the Air Liquide business model, encompassing several business lines.
As an original member of the COE Management Accounting & Reporting, your role will be instrumental in setting up strong processes and shaping a dynamic and open team culture. You will also have a unique opportunity to streamline, optimize and automate tools and processes, and to work with the Business Intelligence team to leverage our new data lake, dashboards and tools, which are part of our digitalization roadmap, to bring more efficiency and value added in the reporting and the analysis of our financial and operational data.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial dashboards and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
Assist senior analysts with data entry and report generation in the Group Consolidation Systems.
Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Learn and adhere to established reporting procedures and timelines.
Collaborate with the reporting team at the BSC to understand report requirements and coordinate deadlines.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
Maintain organized and detailed records of reporting activities.
Are you a MATCH? Education and qualifications Graduate with a degree in business administration, statistics, mathematics, economics, accounting, finance, or computer science.
1-3 years of experience in financial analysis in positions of increasing responsibility.
Experience in working with different departments and cross-functional teams, including people development skills and leadership qualities.
Hard skills Strong computer skills (Microsoft and Google office products), experience with SAP or Oracle and/or ERP systems, and Power BI a plus.
Strong analytical skills.
Comfortable with financial and quantitative information.
Soft skills Reliable.
Communication.
Team player.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
