About MercuryMercury is a large, multi-year, enterprise-wide process transformation that replaced more than 1400 EY business systems and related processes with an integrated, SAP-centric platform that standardized and harmonized activities throughout the organization, significantly improving how EY manages its business.
Mercury is a key enabler of EY's All In, supporting many transformation initiatives across the Firm by streamlining the application portfolio, reducing operating costs, and providing a platform to deliver services more efficiently.
The Mercury solution is built upon the latest technologies (Portal, Mobile, SaaS) and various hosting models (Cloud, Vendor, and Internal).
The user base at the final rollout is more than 400k.
About the Mercury Support Team (MST)The MST is a centralized and global organization that provides operational support for the delivered Mercury solution and supports the Mercury user community.
The MST plays an integral role in governance of the Mercury solution and the global template from both a business and technology perspective, evolving to work closely with the business to enable benefits and value from the investment in Program Mercury and to set the future direction and technology roadmap to support EY All In.
Your key responsibilitiesThe MST Technical Planning & Coordination Lead will:
Work with teams across the MST, EY Technology, and vendors to orchestrate competing maintenance initiatives within a weekly window.Maintain MST systems and reliability.Lead a team for planning and coordination activities.Skills and attributes for successKnowledge and experience managing multiple initiatives or projects simultaneously.Knowledge and experience reporting metrics.Experience managing and mentoring resources.Knowledge of infrastructure devices such as servers, storage, proxy, and networking devices.Knowledge of SAP systems is a plus.To qualify for the role, you must haveExperience leading or coordinating projects or infrastructure maintenance.Experience leading resources.Solid written and communication skills.The ability to articulate competing initiatives to leadership and detail the issue areas.Basic awareness of different cultures and working practices across global regions.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ideally, you'll also haveGeneral knowledge of infrastructure technologies.Ability to clearly articulate ideas and vision through meetings and documentation.ITIL concepts.What we look forEnergetic leader who can communicate and develop technical solutions and lead meetings with resources from global communities.
