Position Summary We are seeking midlevel to senior associates with at least four years of law firm experience in life sciences transactions or two or more years of in-house counsel experience at a life sciences company.
This role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and advising on various agreements, including collaboration, license, supply, and operational agreements.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the life sciences sector and be eager to work on high-impact corporate and transactional matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate life sciences agreements, including collaboration agreements, license agreements, and supply agreements.
Prepare and review operational agreements such as confidentiality agreements (CDAs/NDAs), material transfer agreements (MTAs), sponsored research agreements (SRAs), clinical trial agreements (CTAs), and master service agreements (MSAs).
Advise clients on product purchase and sale agreements, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations.
Support clients in structuring and negotiating complex business transactions within the life sciences industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory, and business operations, to ensure alignment on transactional matters.
Provide legal guidance on strategic corporate partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other business development initiatives.
Stay current on life sciences industry trends, regulations, and best practices to advise clients effectively.
Skills and Qualifications Minimum of four years of law firm experience in life sciences transactions or at least two years of in-house counsel experience within the life sciences sector.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating a variety of life sciences agreements, including collaboration and license agreements.
Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, including knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal matters in a clear, practical manner.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong client service orientation and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
