Mid-Senior Full-Stack Developer (React/React Native/Node) - Remote

We are seeking a full stack engineer (front end focused) to join our engineering team of three, working closely with our CTO.
Role Overview What you'll be doing Play an instrumental role in further developing our product, with a focus on front end development Work directly with the founders and CTO to collaboratively define the product and engineering roadmap Own and ship new features from inception to implementation Develop, iterate, and refine our extensible and flexible workflow for identification and support of adolescent wellbeing challenges Build exceptional user experiences that allow members to effectively identify and manage their own wellbeing that of their friends and loved ones Build a culture of technical excellence, transparency, and enjoyment at work Who you are Rockstar Engineer: 4+ years of software development experience; experience with Sonar's existing tech stack (in particular front end) is a strong plus Builder: Experience building software products  and mobile applications from conception to launch User Driven: Empathize deeply with our members (parents & youth) and the nuances of mental healthcare Learner: Innately curious and willing to build a deeper understanding of underlying problems Leader: ??You're autonomous and self-driven.
You have strong opinions, loosely held driven by a commitment to doing the right thing for our users and society Strong Communicator: with ability to converse across product, business, clinical, and engineering / data science teams Other Stuff: Remote / contractor role Fluent in English Any South American timezone Sonar Tech Stack Frontend ( focus of role ) TypeScript / React / React Native / Redux Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap / Material UI Backend Typescript / Node.js / Nest.js / Prisma ORM Amazon Web Services (AWS) *Note that we are currently a web application but will potentially develop a mobile app within the next year.
This role would be integral in its development if we decide to go in that direction.
