Job OverviewTE Connectivity's HR Business Partners implement Human Resources policies at the business unit level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. succession, talent acquisition, total rewards and change management). They foster partnership across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, strategies and policies of the organization and work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development. In addition, HR Business Partners participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change).
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Manager II HR Business Partner, you will serve as a business partner and trusted advisor to the TE Medical Costa Rica Leadership Team members and their direct reports. Additionally, you will oversee the HR teams in two local sites. This position reports to the Dir HRBP, Global Operations for TE Medical and key responsibilities include:
Serve as an influential business partner across TE Medical Costa Rica business in support of business requirements.Implement Human Resource (HR) policy at the local business level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. succession, talent acquisition, total rewards, talent development, and change management).Provide a focused set of human resource activities in the areas of leadership, organization development, employee/labor relations, employee engagement, talent management, workforce planning, change management and communications.Drive and ensure standardization and consistency across the two sites in Costa Rica.Lead the delivery of strategic talent, organization design, and organizational effectiveness support across TE Medical Costa Rica.Analyze and prioritize the critical business challenges faced by the organization and deploy appropriate HR interventions.Drive organizational culture towards TE Medical values & unleash people's potential through development and inclusion.Lead local BU HR teams in two Costa Rica sites, focusing on standardization, effectiveness, and development.Coordinate and collaborate effectively with Regional HR Support, the HR Services organization and HR COEs to effectively lead the successful delivery of the HR services required to drive the business imperatives of the BU and/or site.What Your Background Should Look Like:Bachelor's degree or above or equivalent experience; HR related major preferred.10+ years of progressive experience within HR; Ideal candidate will have previous experience within HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager capacity with people leadership experience.Must have experience partnering with business and functional leaders in a matrixed environment requiring influencing skills.Experience in multi-national company with HR Services and employee self-service HR delivery model.Ability to build trust and credibility among his/her team and at all levels within the organization.Execution focused with a high level of interpersonal skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, process oriented with a sense of urgency.Solution oriented with ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.Functional expertise: Talent Management, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Employee/Labor Relations.CompetenciesSET: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers).
